Be In The Reunion Music Video!

Hello Beautiful Friends,

Papermaps are putting together a video for our song “Reunion,” and we need your help. The video will be comprised of a series of short clips of people holding up signs that answer the following question:

If you could send a message back in time to yourself at age 16, what would you say?

The answer could be anything. It can be funny/serious/deadpan/crazy/sexy/goofy/cute — anything! Just make sure it’s something you’re comfortable sharing publicly.

We hope you’ll take part! It’s simple enough — here’s a sample video to show you what we’re looking for:

Some Guidelines:

– Please make the videos 20 to 30 seconds long — the clips will display in the final product for about a quarter of that time, but 20 second clips will give us more flexibility during the editing process.

– Make sure there’s enough light that we can see your beautiful faces!

– Landscape orientation only, please (not portrait).

– Record in HD if you can, but it’s not necessary iPhones/Androids/Webcams, etc. work fine — just use the highest res and show your best side!

– Try to choose an interesting background. Maybe on the streetcar, or at a show or a party. Or anywhere. You can get another friend involved too, as long as we can see your smiling faces and your messages.

– Write your message in thick black marker on an 8.5″x11″ sheet of paper. Make sure the writing is nice and big, so people can read it.

– When you’re done, you can send the clip  (10 meg or smaller) to me as an attachment ex.po.dean (at sign) gmail (dot com).   Or you can send it to me via yousendit.com

or upload the video to the following FTP site:

(no password)

Please rename the file with something useful (like your name) so that it’s not MVI_65764.avi or some junk like that.

If you know someone who likes the music and might be interested, please pass this along!
